THE BOX SKY 1

Postby tactically naive » Sun Feb 07, 2010 10:54 pm

THE BOX are a group of 13 dancers aged between 7-15 from Dancepoint Robert Hamilton's Musical Theatre School. They are a local dance school who have made it through to the final of Got to Dance on SKY 1(Sun 14th Feb at 6.00pm).
They used to have a studio in Clydebank Shopping Centre but the high rental costs meant that for the last year these kids have been moving around temporary premises in Whitecrook, Maryhill, Partick and their latest home is in Scotstoun.
1st prize in this competition is £100,000 which will be used to create a permanent home for the school. Robert has about 100 pupils, including my youngest daughter, and winning will allow him to continue to develop the dancing skills of all the kids in his school.
So instead of watching 2nd rate celebs on ice tune in and support local kids who have real talent. I promise you will be amazed at their dancing skills.
Votes only cost 5p on a landline.

If anyone took the time and effort to either watch or vote for the kids then thank you very much.
To finish in the top 3 was a fantastic achievement and they did themselves and their dance school proud.
