A topical subject in light of us actually having had a few days good weather for a change...

Should shorts be allowed to be worn on the green and on a separate matter, should they be allowed in the clubhouse?

I believe there is some debate going on at the moment as to whether this was passed at a recent AGM.

Just wondering what people's views are???

For what it's worth I think they should be allowed, both on the green and in the club as long as they are dress shorts...

And I forgot to add, as long as they are not pink...

Unfortunately one of the members who wants to wear shorts is shrek and i don't think we are ready for that image, although a by-law could be passed that in good weather he should use the braces from his waterproofs to hold them up.

As far as i heard it was passed at AGM,just need billy parker to test that one.And to answer the question yes they should be allowed on the greens,might have to be white or grey ones though :/.Also what is the harm in wearing dress shorts on the green it is 2009 after all. I am talking about all clubs not just your one.
