new lrague set up

Read with interest the comments re. league set-up. My opinion is that the six rinks at the same venue is the better option.A number of clubs have had to compromise and unwillingly accept six instead of eight and if some clubs constitutions do not allow for this, now is the time for change .
The atmosphere would be greatly enhanced and hopefuly bring back some excitement to Friday evenings. As tn and js state, this is not being done for changes sake , but to make the cdba league a better ,more viable, and more competative format.

I dont know what the problem is,After a years debate with diologe from all concerned, the clubs have come up with this formula,so i think we should accept it and see how it goes for the first year and then get round the table and see if it works.A lot of people have put a lot of effort and time into this and should be thanked for there efforts. We all have opinons, but the job is done so lets get on with it and make it work for the sake of C.D.B.A.

Can't disagree with any of the comments made,,,however AGM has passed, the vote taken, and the format is laid out, I agree with GM,,we have to get on with it,,,if it does not succeed (and it may not), then all the clubs will AGAIN have to look at a format which will suit all to enable the CDBA to continue,,,, :?:
