Club Colours...

Postby Bankie Boy... » Sat Jul 04, 2009 12:15 pm

Before we start, any reference to pink shirts in this thread will result in an automatic ban from the forum and a 10 year ban from the club... as agreed with the webmaster ColinB... :D

Anyway, I was just looking to canvas members views on club colours, i.e. club shirts which are registered with the SBA and are permitted to be worn in competitive matches. Having seen what the the Belmont boys wear in Ireland, courtesy of Barrsy, and having seen Helensburgh B.C. sporting their club shirts in the County Cup last week, I think they look splendid!!! I am all for the club looking at this and was wondering what others thought and what should our colours be??? Any thoughts :?:

Does this ban have an immediate effect or can I complete any previously arranged ties first :?: :?
Anyway I would go for a white shirt with blue and gold similar to the Belmont shirt that was modeled by Mr Parker c.c. last week. I think we should stick to a white base colour as most of us play in grey trousers (sorry grumpsmumps ;) )

Last week some members though I was so crabbit I must have been on my monthly cycle, looks like it's baldyB's turn now.
Every club has it's squabbles so save it for the club lounge or call a meeting.
We have another big date in our 125 calender this Sat ......hopefully I will get a game this time

Nah............... I disagree with your analysis Tactically. You responded to something that you felt was unwarranted, and defended what you think is right and correct. I appreciate it and applaude your comments.

We dont all need to agree..... thats what makes life interesting ....

For instance personally I wouldn`t wear the pink shirt :o But whatever floats yer boat as they say !!!!!!

If the sun keeps shining it may make another appearance....... do you think it would go better with the shorts rather than the jeans :?:

maybe the shorts with VERY long socks might win the vote......................... Just don`t show too much flesh ! You know the women of Clydebank can only take so much pleasure in one year. And by all accounts they are being very successful this year   ( well done ladies )....

So maybe you need to ration them ..... :D :D  Too much of a good thing and all that !
